Eileen Beasley

Eileen Beasley was born into a family of farmers near Henllan Amgoed, on the Carmarthenshire Pembrokshire border. A teacher by occupation, she campaigned untiringly with her husband Trevor for the Welsh language. She was the first member of the Party of Wales to be elected onto the district council. She still campaigns for the Welsh language and lives in her nurtured district, and has two children and six grandchildren.
