Chris Keil is the author of three acclaimed novels: The French Thing, Liminal and Flirting at the
Funeral. He has held literary residencies, workshops and creative writing master-classes in Europe
and the United States. In academic life he has published and lectured widely on traumatic memory
and representations of the Holocaust, and has taught postgraduate classes at the University of
Wales for a number of years. He is currently working on a new novel about gangsterism and civil
